Higher Edge Application

Higher Edge is a FREE program that helps Seniors in high school get into college. Once they get into college, we stay with them and support them until they graduate from college. We are looking for Juniors to sign up for the program. All they need to be a part of Higher Edge is to want to go to college, be on free/reduced lunch, and be a current students at Windham High School! Chaperones needed for Project Graduation Celebration

Your assistance is needed to chaperone this year’s Project Graduation celebration on June 15th from 9:30pm to 4:30 am. Project Graduation has been a traditional celebration at Windham High for the past twenty-six years. This event is at no cost to graduating seniors and provides an opportunity for students to attend a safe and substance free, all night, grand-finale on the night of their graduation.

Su ayuda es necesaria para acompañar la celebración de Proyecto de Graduación de este año el 15 de junio de las 9:30 a las 4:30. Proyecto de Graduación ha sido una celebración tradicional en la Escuela Superior de Windham durante los últimos veintiséis años. Este evento es gratis para estudiantes que se graduán y les ofrece una oportunidad para que los estudiantes asistan a un lugar seguro y libre de sustancia, en la noche de su graduación.

Community Leadership Challenge

“Community Leadership Challenge” which will be held on Saturday, May 13th from 10-12:30 at our community garden in Philip Lauter Park, Willimantic.

We are inviting high-school age youth from area schools, so that participants may have the chance to meet new people, develop leadership skills, and learn about opportunities for employment, internships and community service.
