Hello Windham High School Families,

This week is Staff Appreciation Week, and we will be celebrating the differences that our staff make in the lives of our students.

Below are the events happening this week at WHS:

Monday: Honor Roll and Attendance Ceremonies

Period 1- Grade 9       Period 2- Grade 10      Period 3- Grade 11       Period 4- Grade 12

Tuesday:  AP Exams - 8 am Human Geography & 12 pm  Government and Politics

Thursday:  AP Exam: 12 pm Statistics

Friday:  Blood Drive 

Windham High School will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, May 8th  from 8:30am-2:00pm in the small gym.  If you would like to donate, please sign up using this link:

Please note- they've added some "power Red" appointments to this drive.  These appointments take more blood and run longer, roughly an hour, so please make sure to note if the time you're looking at is "blood" (normal appointment)  or "power red".  There are also some eligibility requirements for power red: 

• Power Red is for type O, A negative or B negative donors

• Donation Frequency: Every 112 days, up to 3 times/year*
  You must be in good health and feeling well**
  Male donors+ must be at least 17 years old in most states,
  at least 5'1" tall and weigh at least 130 lbs, and have a hemoglobin level of at least 13.3 g/dL.
  Female donors+  must be at least 19 years old, at least 5'3" tall and weigh at least 150 lbs, and have a hemoglobin level of at least 13.3 g/dL.
