Week of October 19-23, 2026

Hello WHS Families,

This week, we will celebrate Cosmic Spirit Week leading up to a Pep Rally on Friday and our Homecoming Dance on Saturday.

On Wednesday, we will administer the PSAT-NMSQT to students in grades 10-11 and the PSAT 8/9 to students in grade 9.  Please remind your students that they need to bring their fully charged chromebook, get a good night’s sleep, and eat a healthy breakfast. During the testing period, seniors will participate in special activities in the cafeteria.

Our after school clubs and credit recovery begin this week and run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:25-3:25 pm.

Monday: Coast Guard Visit during Lunch Waves
Thursday: SNAP Employment and Training Representative Visit during Period 4
