A Family Liaison is a person who works to bridge the communication between school and home by helping families get the information, help and support they need to ensure their child's academic and social success in school. They identify resources and services from the community to strengthen school programs as well as provide information and ideas to families about how to help students. The family liaison collaborates with school staff to support non-English speaking parents and students.
Parent Classes
In Windham, we have established a PARENT AND COMMUNITY UNIVERSITY that serves as an umbrella for all the programs specifically designed for you. As a proud mother myself, I truly understand that time is valuable. We will be offering programs for you with your busy schedules in mind. There will be many opportunities to become more engaged, including before school, during school, after school and on Saturdays! Programs are available in English and Spanish.
Communication
We at Windham Public School take great pride in which you are and are committed to our vision for you and your child. The following is a list of ways we will be communicating with you so that you will always be well informed of the awesome things happening in our building and community. Please know that I will rely greatly on technology this year at our school. Here are additional ways of finding out what opportunities you will have to learn and grow
